Since joining CBC in 2014, Mark has played a critical role in managing CBC’s program expansion. He was instrumental in the launch of CBC’s innovative Pathway Home program, which uses the evidence-based Critical Time Intervention (CTI) to engage and effectively transition individuals from intensive behavioral health settings to the community. Under his leadership, this pilot project has now grown to 5 teams covering 4 boroughs and is funded through the NY State Office of Mental Health. He followed the success of Pathway Home with the development of a variety of programs, including the Staten Island CARES Health Home at Risk project which has served over 1,700 clients.

In addition to his work at CBC, Mark regularly teaches a class on Critical Time Intervention at Hunter College and has taught at University College Dublin in Ireland. Throughout his career, Mark has strived to improve the quality of care and outcomes for individuals experiencing social, economic and health-related crises.

Prior to CBC, Mark provided direct clinical care and managed programs in NYC, Manchester, England and Dublin, Ireland with a focus on the homeless, people with serious mental illness, and those with chronic health conditions.
