Network Benefits

Network Management & Contracting

CBC, in its capacity as an Independent Practice Association (IPA), serves as an expert vehicle for contracting with managed care plans (MCOs) on behalf of its participating providers. We recognize that negotiating agreements with MCOs can be time consuming and expensive. Most providers, on their own, do not have the specific expertise needed to negotiate fair reimbursement and contract terms. We can achieve these benefits by leveraging network size to strategically negotiate contracts focused on obtaining the best financial and operating terms possible.

CBC IPA currently has IPA network agreements with the following MCOs.  IPA Participating Providers can participate in any of these contracts as well as any contracts negotiated in the future.

  • MetroPlus Health Plan
  • Molina Health
  • Partners Health Plan
  • RiverSpring Health
  • Senior Whole Health
  • VNS Health Plans

Other Payors

CBC contracts with state and health system funders on behalf of network providers to further transform care. These currently include over 15 regionally based teams specializing in transitional care from hospital to community, housing people living on the street, and supporting patients in need of housing. These programs have documented savings along with positive health and wellness outcomes creating opportunity for expansion.
